In 2024, the European Union's 27 member states contributed a combined €135.9 billion to the EU budget and received €123.0 billion in allocated expenditure. Germany, France, and Italy are the three largest net contributors, while Poland, Romania, and Greece receive the most. All data is sourced from the official EU Operating Budgetary Balances report published by DG Budget, European Commission.
